Download and install

1. Register an account on this website.
2. Open DFF → Download and get the installer for your platform (Windows or Linux).
3. Run the installer on your computer.

Get a free trial license

1. Start DFF. On first run it asks you to generate a license request file.
2. Save that text file, then upload it on DFF → License.
3. Download the signed license file and place it where DFF instructs.

A free trial (30 days) is authorized the first time you upload a license file from DFF. The website fills in your account name, email, and affiliation, and sets the dates from the server clock. Other information in the file is left unchanged.

Buy a perpetual license

Contact a distributor in your region to get quote and make purchase of perpetual license:

See Contact for distributor details. After you purchase, upload a new license file on DFF → License. An administrator selects the licensed components and authorizes a perpetual (30-year) license file.

Updates

A license includes one year of free updates. We email you when a new version is available on DFF → Download. After the first year, an discounted update fee applies.
